Q 1: What is the cashback benefit of Citymaxx card?
A: The Citymaxx American Express Card comes with a unique feature that lets you earn cashback on all your spend*. Through this card you can cashback in two different ways: Regular cashback and Accelerated cashback.
Q 2: What is regular cashback earning?
A: The regular cashback for Citymaxx Card is 1%. You can avail guaranteed 1% cashback on every purchase* with this card.
Q 3: What is accelerated cashback earning?
A: Beside regular cashback, you can earn accelerated cashback with Citymaxx card. You will get 2% cashback at the following grocery stores instead of regular 1%:

Q 4: What are the eligible transaction types to earn cashback offer?
A: The cashback offer is applicable for POS, E-Commerce and QR transactions only. The cashback facilities are not applicable for ATM transactions and also for transactions made in fuel stations and MFS wallets.
Q 5: What are the eligible card types?
A: All Citymaxx cards including the Islamic Citymaxx card will be eligible for cashback earning.
Q 6: What is the minimum transaction amount required to be eligible for the cashback?
A: To be eligible for the cashback, minimum quarterly transaction amount has to be BDT 30,000
Q 7: What is the limit of cashback earning?
A: You can earn maximum BDT 2,000 as cash-back in every quarter (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep & Oct-Dec). That means you can earn maximum BDT 8,000 per calendar year as cashback.
Q 8: When will the cashback amount be disbursed?
A: The earned cashback amount of every quarter will be disbursed to your account within 20 working days after respective quarter end. You will be notified through SMS after cashback disbursal.
